A Manager’s position has become available on Tram Road Dairy Farm for the coming season. This 440 ha property milking 1000 cows is part of our Cape Foulwind Complex just south of Westport. This is a great opportunity for an experienced and dynamic person.
The right candidate will have
- Staff management experience and motivational skills
- Excellent pasture management skills
- Extensive knowledge of animal husbandry
- Advanced and technical understanding of dairy systems
- Financial budgeting skills
- Computer literacy and a willingness to learn new systems
The Dairy Farm Manager will be accountable to a Farm Business Manager, and has full responsibility for recruitment and management of their own team.
The position will include a sound three bedroom home, close to all amenities, recreational activities and schooling.
