Landcorp Farming is a State-owned Enterprise, owning or leasing 374,948 ha of land. With 105 properties and 1.5 million stock units, we are New Zealand’s largest farming operation.
Goudies Station, 35 minutes from Taupo and Rotorua, is a 20000 su sheep, deer and cattle property comprising 1900 ha of flat pumice land. The sheep are all part of the Romney Breeding Scheme which provides rams to farms throughout New Zealand.
The right candidate will:
- Have experience in tractor and implement operations
- Be enthusiastic and motivated
- Have fencing skills
- Show pride in their work environment
- Be able to use initiative
- Have good reporting skills
- Be fit and healthy
Duties will include:
- Tractor and other machine operation
- Spraying
- Fencing
- Assisting with stock work as required
